This is the PODCAST INTERVIEW AND LIKENESS RELEASE AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) governing your participation in the podcast interview run by Robbie Samuels LLC. By booking a time for the podcast interview, you agree to these terms, which form a binding legal contract between Robbie Samuels LLC (“Host”) and the undersigned (“you” or “Guest”) (collectively the “Parties”). If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the booking form on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the attendee or participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

The Guest grants Host the right to interview Guest and otherwise photograph, record, tape, reproduce, livestream, or take notes on such interview or interviews (collectively the “Recordings”).

The Guest grants Host the right to use the Recordings and Guest’s image, visual likeness, portrait, photograph, video and sound recordings and biographical information, in whole or in part, in all forms and media (collectively the “Likeness”) as provided by Guest to Host. Host may publish, license, create derivative works of, and use forever and throughout the world the Likeness in whole or in part, with or without credit to Guest, in Host’s podcast, On the Schmooze, and in subsidiary works including audiograms, printed books, eBooks, audiobooks, articles, social media posts, blog posts, or any other publications and/or in any and all other media and in any advertising and publicity in connection therewith (all of such rights shall be defined herein as the “Acquired Rights”).

Host will not use the Recordings and Likeness for any (i) political purpose; (ii) engage in any activities through or in connection with the Recordings that seek to attempt to or do harm to any individuals or entities or are unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, violent, threatening, bullying, harassing, or abusive, or that violate any right of any third party, or are otherwise objectionable to Guest; or (ii) submit any software or other materials that contain any viruses, worms, Trojan horses, defects, date bombs, time bombs, or other items of a destructive nature.

The Guest represents and warrants that Guest has the right to grant Host the Acquired Rights without obtaining the permission of, or making any payments to, any third party or entity. This authorization and release shall inure to the benefit of the legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Host. The Guest hereby releases Host from, and agrees not to sue for, any claim or cause of action, whether known or unknown, for libel, slander, invasion of right of privacy, publicity or personality, or any other claim or cause of action, based upon or relating to the use of the Likeness or the exercise of any of the Acquired Rights. The Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Host, and its officers, directors, shareholders, and employees, from and against any liabilities, losses, claims, demands, costs (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees), and expenses arising in connection with any breach or alleged breach of any of the above representations, warranties, or agreement hereunder.

The Guest acknowledges that, in the event of any breach by Host or any third party, the damage, if any, caused will not be irreparable or otherwise sufficient to entitle the Guest to seek injunctive or other equitable relief. The Guest’s rights and remedies will be strictly limited to the right, if any, to recover damages in an action at law, and the Guest will have neither the right to rescind or terminate this Agreement or any of Host’s rights hereunder, nor the right to enjoin the production, exhibition, or other exploitation of the Likeness.

This Agreement shall be construed and enforced according to the laws of the State of Pennsylvania and any dispute under this Agreement must be brought in the court of appropriate jurisdiction in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
By checking the box on the booking form, Guest agrees to be bound to the Agreement. This Agreement is the complete agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter herein.

I, the Guest, ACKNOWLEDGE AND REPRESENT THAT I have read the Agreement, understand it, and agree to it voluntarily as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement, have been made; I am at least twenty-one (21) years of age and fully competent; and I agree to this Agreement for full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.

Goal of the Interview: The goal is to share a little bit about your journey, what you learned along the way about the importance of relationships, and what leadership means to you.

I want to tell your story and hopefully understand how you think and work. This is best achieved when you can answer “I did this…” or “This is how I approach my work…”, rather than responding generically with a description of how leaders or managers would answer the question.

This is a “G-rated” show; please refrain from using curse words. Thanks!

Possible Interview Questions

Below you will find a list of possible questions you may be asked during your interview. Due to the conversational style of the interview, all of these may not be asked, but the conversation will start with the first question. I will NOT open by asking you to “Tell me about yourself…” and I hope through my questions, you will share something about yourself that hasn't come up in other interviews.

Tell me what leadership means to you and when you realized you had the skills to lead.

How has your professional network grown during your career and in what ways have you nurtured those relationships?
