Robbie SamuelsI'm excited for you.

You are ready to take charge of your career and build a strong professional network. You know how important “networking” is and you don't want to waste any more time doing the same thing you've always done.

You want to know what works.

I'm a professional speaker, TEDx speaker, and relationship-based business strategist. I've been recognized as a “networking expert” by Inc., Harvard Business Review Ascend, and Lifehacker. I work with event organizers and associations to create a better experience for “Year 2” participants, leading to increased member value and member retention. In light of COVID-19, I'm assisting organizations with bringing this more engaging experience to virtual events as a Virtual Event Consultant and Emcee.

Stay tuned for emails from me that will be filled with short stories with a business lesson as the twist, plus weekly challenges to help you meet your goals. I also recommend that you tune into my weekly podcast, On the Schmooze, for interviews with talented professionals and step-by-step networking tips and techniques from me. I've been hosting this weekly since July 2016.

In 2017, I became an author with the publication of “Croissants vs. Bagels: Strategic, Effective, and Inclusive Networking at Conferences.” Special bonuses included in both the Kindle book and paperback. Curious to know what they are? Ok, twist my arm, you'll receive the audiobook when you purchase the paperback. I actually think the Kindle bonus bundle is even better.

Since 2009, I've been leading engaging, fun, and informative presentations for a wide array of audiences to increase their confidence when it comes to relationship building – whether through networking, fundraising, intercultural communication, or sales. If you're wondering what I'm like as a speaker, I could tell you that I'm a funny, engaging presenter who shares actionable tips to help you stop wasting time networking and grow your career or business through relationship-based strategies, but instead, I'll encourage you to look through hundreds of testimonials I've received. I've also been quoted or written about in a number of books and articles, interviewed on dozens of podcasts, and was invited to do a TEDx “Hate networking? Stop bageling and be the croissant!”

Looking for additional resources? I've created a free Masterclass series on a range of topics, including “Should I write a book?”, “Should I launch a podcast?”, Book Launch Strategies, and Get M.O.R.E. [Money, Opportunities, Referrals, Engagement]. These are all available at

One-on-One Coaching I believe that networking is a marketing strategy. I coach “expert entrepreneurs” to grow to the next level through relationship-based business strategies and hands-on support. Interested to learn more about private coaching packages? Send me an email and we can schedule a strategy session so I can learn more about your business goals and we can see if we'd be a good fit.

Again, welcome.
Stay safe,
p.s. I encourage you to stay connected:
