I remember it like it was yesterday, it was mid-2015 and I had left my career just six months earlier to pursue speaking as a business.
I was feeling a bit unmoored.
After having my days clearly defined by endless deadlines, I was the one who had to decide what was a priority.
And I didn’t have a support team to take care of any of the mundane details.
For months I had been consuming podcast episodes like it was my job – and learning so much from them.
One memorable takeaway was the sage advice I heard more than once on Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income – advice Pat had heard from Jason Van Orden, then host of Internet Business Mastery:
“There’s a difference between just in case learning and just in time learning.”
I had been doing a lot of “just in case” learning over the previous six months and it was time to pick a project that would help me take my side hustle to a six-figure business.
Since podcasts had had such a big impact on me and I would much rather talk than write, I set the intention to host a weekly show.
I knew that would require a lot of focus and attention, especially since I wanted it to be a high-quality show out of the gate.
At the time I couldn’t have even dreamt that I would have the opportunity to interview Jason Van Orden and get to know him in real life.
I wouldn’t have dared to dream that I would meet Pat Flynn and he would agree to be on my show.
And the thought never crossed my mind that I would ever interview Seth Godin.
Yes, THAT Seth Godin!

Business Growth Strategist & Business Coach
As a relationship-based business growth strategist, I work directly with a limited number of self-employed professionals, aka solopreneurs.
WHO YOU ARE:
You want to have a greater impact and increased income. The problem is that there are so many options for how to build your business that you can feel stuck, overwhelmed, and like you’re running out of time.
The reason options are overwhelming is that you’re looking at them as a series of disconnected steps, when to make the most of your time, you need a strategy that connects only the most important and highest impact ones.
You know that if you try to do everything, you’ll accomplish nothing. This means, to achieve your goal, you have to invest in a strategy to put time on your side.
As a relationship-based business growth strategist, I will work with you to design a year-long plan that consists of three 12-week sprints, each followed by 4 weeks of reflection/assessment, rejuvenation/vacation, and strategic planning. This will allow you to sequence your goals, create momentum, and leverage your limited time.
We can build your plan through a half-day strategy session, a coaching engagement, or a mastermind program.
These are not right for everyone; they’re personalized offerings and are priced accordingly.
