It’s time to come out. I haven't been able to come to grips with my new identity, but it's time I share so I can find my community.
It's been years of trying and failing. I kept going back to my old ways.
I was being stubborn or at least going with what was familiar to me.
No matter how many times I was offered an alternative, I wouldn't even consider it.
And then, I met Polar Raspberry Lime Seltzer and it was a game changer.
That led to experimenting with other Polar flavors.
I'm still mostly a Raspberry Lime kind of guy, but recently I was in a supermarket and I was thirsty. What did I buy?
Diet Coke – my old friend?
A zillion other sugary options?
Nope. I got a can of Polar Blueberry Lemonade Seltzer.
And it was delicious.
I can't believe I'm even saying this.
But I had to share because now when I’m out to eat, I no longer order my usual glass of Diet Coke, I instead get a glass of…
Sparkling water with a lime – what!??
So now, I know it's real. I'm a… seltzer drinker.
I don't know how to feel about this.
Have you recently been converted?
Do you remember those early days when you still automatically reached for Diet Coke and shook your head no when offered sparkling water?
Is this change permanent? Will I once again find the idea of seltzer repugnant?
I’m only half kidding – I know that a small change like this is going to have enormous health benefits.
That got me thinking, what small change have I been resisting that would help me succeed in business?
Your Challenge For This Week:
What small shift could you make so you were better able to take advantage of the many opportunities and possibilities in the world around you?
What have you been automatically saying no to for years that might now be something worth trying?
Try it out and let me know what happens.
