Sleep. I think a lot about sleep.

Mainly, I think about whether my kids are getting enough sleep.

And whether I’m getting enough sleep because of my kids.

When I’m feeling a bit run down, overwhelmed, or lacking focus – I start to get myself back on track by making sure I’m sleeping enough.

It’s a challenge to get everything done during the day that I want to accomplish.

Especially, as a work-at-home dad with a 2.5-year-old and 6-month-old.

I’m often asked whether I sleep, given how much I do get accomplished.

Yes, I sleep.

I average just under 7 hours a night according to my Fitbit.

I’d love it to be 7.5 hours.

But I’m a night owl and feel most productive when most people are ramping down for the night.

Fortunately, my kiddos are also night owls and late-risers.

And generally, they love to sleep.

But lately, my toddler’s nap routine has been getting shorter and shorter and it’s so evident to me how lots of quality sleep makes him a happier kiddo.

Hmm, I could learn a thing or two from my kiddos.

Maybe I should make more of an effort to get my sleep average up?

Your Challenge For This Week

Make note of what time you usually go to sleep and what time you wake up.

Do this for three nights.

Then, make it a priority to get to bed 30 minutes earlier than usual.

Do this for three nights.

Try this and let me know how it goes!

Business Growth Strategist & Business Coach

As a relationship-based business growth strategist, I work directly with a limited number of self-employed professionals, aka solopreneurs.

WHO YOU ARE:

You want to have a greater impact and increased income. The problem is that there are so many options for how to build your business that you can feel stuck, overwhelmed, and like you’re running out of time.

The reason options are overwhelming is that you’re looking at them as a series of disconnected steps, when to make the most of your time, you need a strategy that connects only the most important and highest impact ones.

You know that if you try to do everything, you’ll accomplish nothing. This means, to achieve your goal, you have to invest in a strategy to put time on your side.

What’s Included:

As a relationship-based business growth strategist, I will work with you to design a year-long plan that consists of three 12-week sprints, each followed by 4 weeks of reflection/assessment, rejuvenation/vacation, and strategic planning. This will allow you to sequence your goals, create momentum, and leverage your limited time.

We can build your plan through a half-day strategy session, a coaching engagement, or a mastermind program.
